More House Drama!

I know I haven't posted anything for awhile about our house; I'm afraid to because anytime we think something is going to work out it seems to fall through!  But I thought I would give a small update of some things that have happened recently.  Last time I blogged about our house, the people who wanted our house had just had their condo sale fall through!  So our house was back on the market.  Well, then we got two more offers, but they were too low to consider.  Then the first people came back and made an offer again, because they had been successful at getting their condo under contract again.  Unfortunately, and against the odds, their condo sale fell through a second time.  I feel really bad for that poor family.  Well, that happened a couple of weeks ago and we have been waiting around, and really nothing has happened.  We were getting a little nervous and beginning to talk about what we would do if our house didn't sell in time.  Well, in the past 24 hours or so, things have gone a little crazy!  (But in a good way!)  The original people who made us an offer came back and said they had sold their condo for a third time and still wanted the house.  AND we got two more offers!  We are feeling pretty good now that we have three offers on the table.  One is bound to work out, right?  My agent told each of them that we had other offers on the table and for every one to bring their best offers.  The highest offers came in higher than our asking price, so we might make a tiny bit more out of the house than we expected, also.  That is really nice.  Anyway, the roller coaster ride is still far from over.  There are still things to figure out dealing with the time clause and backup offers and other stuff that you probably know more about than me if you know anything about real estate.  But needless to say, we will probably sleep a little bit more soundly tonight.
