Tourists out on the Town

So, I hate when I'm behind on my blog, and I feel that I've been perpetually behind now for months, so maybe I just need to get used to the idea. Argh! Anyway, so these pictures are about two weeks late. Better late than never, right? :)

The week before General Conference, Gerald's parents came into town. We had a nice time visiting with them. Thursday, we took Katelee out of school and took them to downtown Denver to do some of the touristy things there are to do. We had a great time exploring!

We took the tour of the mint, which is always fun.
We also walked around the beautiful downtown area. Here's a picture of the capitol building.
We stood on the 3rd step, which put us exactly one mile above sea level.
Some other cool buildings we saw. Gerald especially appreciate looking at all the classic architecture.
A few other things we did while Grandma and Grandpa were in town:
  • Saw Geoff and Bonnie's first play of the season (they are the new drama teachers at a local high school). The school did You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. It was GREAT! We all loved it, even (especially!) Katelee.
  • Enjoyed conference together, including our traditional pumpkin waffles. YUM!
  • Visited, watched movies, laughed, and had a general good time.
Come again soon!
