Following the family reunion, we had a few days before our flight home. We had originally intended to spend that time with Gerald's parents, but - much to our surprise! - Gerald's parents decided to move to sunny Arizona a week before we came to Utah! So, when my family all headed home, my parents dropped us off in Lehi for a night of catching up with old neighbors and friends. We didn't have nearly enough time, but what time we did have we thoroughly enjoyed catching up with a few friends and visiting with our wonderful hosts, the Shills. Thanks for letting us stay with you, guys!
The next afternoon we went to visit Gerald's sister and her family in Pleasant Grove for a few days. We had a great time visiting and relaxing! Katelee loves staying with her cousins. A few of the highlights of our time with the Willdens included making graham cracker 'gingerbread' houses:

But the highlight of the trip was probably our visit to Provo, where we got to see Gerald's grandma.

Grandma is a great bowler, so in keeping with family tradition we all headed over to BYU for some bowling!
Woo Hoo! Another strike! This was probably the best game I've ever bowled!
(Which isn't saying a lot, but still made it fun for me!)
We all had a great time bowling and then going out to dinner afterwards with grandma. While we were in Provo we also had the chance to walk through Gerald's parent's empty home one last time. They lived in that home when Gerald was born, so it was the only home he ever knew until we were married. It was strange to see the house completely empty like that. We were glad to have one last chance to see it, as the new owners have moved in now.

While staying with the Willdens, we also enjoyed watching Despicable Me and The Sorcerer's Apprentice, two movies that we would highly recommend!
Overall, we had a wonderful trip and greatly enjoyed seeing so many friends and family. Thank you to everyone who made our trip so wonderful!
