Last night the three of us visited the new Draper Temple open house. It was a great opportunity to be able to take Katelee and teach her more about the temple. She was excited about the whole experience. At one point as we were first entering the temple she clutched Gerald's leg and squealed, "Now we are all going to get married!" She particularly loved the beautiful baptismal font (a.k.a. "swimming pool") with the carved oxen. The entire temple was stunning; I really loved the colors of the interior. The experience reminded us of how blessed we are to have the restored gospel on the earth. Here is a picture of Gerald and Katelee waiting to board the bus to the temple.
After the temple, we took Katelee to McDonald's to celebrate the fact that she is 100% potty-trained! Hooray Katelee! She had a wonderful night!
