The Easter Bunny visits our house on Friday night. Before going to bed, Katelee left her Easter basket on the kitchen table for the Easter bunny to find.
During the night, the Easter bunny came and filled up Katelee's Easter basket and then hid it under our computer desk. So this morning Katelee woke up and had to look around the house for her Easter basket. She walked past it a few times looking on top of the desk, but finally noticed it was hidden underneath the desk. This was her face when she saw it there. She was so proud of herself for finding it!
She was really excited about what the Easter bunny brought her this year! The little baby chick that chirped was a favorite.
We also colored Easter eggs together today. Katelee got more into it than I expected. She kept saying, "This is fun! This is SO FUN!" I love how pretty colored Easter eggs are; they turned out really nice. After Katelee went to bed, Gerald hid them all over the house for her to find in the morning.
This was Katelee's favorite egg. Gerald drew on it to make it look like Mr. Potato Head.
