Wow! This past week has been one wild and crazy week of family!
Monday: My parents came to our house on their way to Idaho. We played outside and had dinner together and later went to JCW's for yummy milkshakes. They stayed the night at our house that night. Katelee absolutely loves when her grandma and grandpa comes to stay! (And so do I!)
Tuesday: In the morning, Katelee and I went with my parents to visit my Grandpa Daw. We went to lunch together and visited for awhile; it was nice to see my grandpa and spend more time with my parents.
Wednesday: Gerald's sister, LaVon, and her kids are in town from Montana while Kelly has to go on a business trip. We spent the morning at LeRita's house letting all the kids play and catching up on family news. Katelee immediately dressed up (of course) as a fireman.
Thursday: Katelee and I spent some time in the morning again with LeRita and LaVon and their kids. Katelee is always sad when it's time to leave. She loves her cousins! In the evening, my sister Brittany and her husband Todd came. Katelee taught Todd how to wear her guitar and they had a little jam session together. We had dinner and then went together to visit Grandpa Daw and Kaye. We had a nice visit, and got to see Meghan and Kelly, too. Then we came home and played games while we ate popcorn with M&M's: the must-have Thurston family snack.
Friday: Brittany and Todd stayed to have breakfast with us, and then had to get back on the road on their way to Idaho. In the evening, we had a birthday party for Kelly and Logan with all the extended family. We ate yummy cake and ice cream and had a really fun night!
Today: Today we have our own little Easter traditions to do, and we'll prepare for tomorrow's Easter dinner.
Sunday: Easter dinner is here at our house tomorrow. The whole Reynolds clan is coming for at least part of the evening, and we are really looking forward to it!
Wow! What a busy week; but we are so grateful to be surrounded by family and to enjoy being with each of our family members. We love you all!
