Temple Square Fieldtrip

Last week, a friend of mine organized a little 'fieldtrip' to Temple Square.  We met in Sandy with all of our kids and rode Trax up to Temple Square.  Katelee loves riding Trax.  But she had even more fun riding it with lots of friends!  Here she is on the train looking out the window.  

Once we got to temple square, we went to the church history museum where they have this great exhibit right now for children called "I Am a Child of God." (If you are in the area, it is free and so hands-on and fun for kids!) Katelee loved playing with the infants at the pretend hospital nursery. Of course, she did have to steal the babies hat and wear it herself.

Building a beautiful stain glass window.After the museum we found a place near the temple to sit and eat our picnic lunch.  The kids had a great time being out in the springtime weather.  If you know Katelee at all, you know that she is bursting with energy.  She ate her lunch while spinning and skipping in circles; then, as soon as lunch was done, she ran laps around this little sidewalk until it was time to go.


I finally got her to hold still for a picture, but she wouldn't stop making funny faces.
