Last Friday night was our ward Christmas party at the church. It was a wonderful evening, complete with an re-enactment of the Christmas story by primary children, dinner in an 'old Jerusalem' style, carol singing, Christmas crafts for the kids, and (of course!) Santa Claus! Katelee had a love/fear relationship with Santa this year. She LOVED him and REALLY wanted see him, but when we first got up to him, she ran away. Ha ha ha ha! But she came right back, she really wanted to see him so badly despite her fear. So I sat next to her while she sat on Santa's lap, and when it was over, she was sad she didn't get to talk to him more.
We did get to remind Santa that Katelee will be at Grandma and Grandpa's house for Christmas this year. :0) Thank you, Santa!
