Monday night on a whim we took Katelee to the Mayan Restaurant for dinner. They've changed it and improved it since I was last there. The food is still mediocre, in my opinion, but the atmosphere and the shows are really fun. Katelee stared wide-eyed at those cliff divers, and she kept saying, "This is sooooo fun!" The cliff divers are pretty amazing and the shows are fun to watch.
As we were eating our dinner, we were talking about how we were glad we came to the Mayan once before leaving the state. Which led to further discussion about the other things we want to do before leaving Utah. We decided to try to fit in a weekly "Good-bye to Utah Adventure." We discussed how we need to visit Temple Square once more, hike to Timp Caves, visit the Thanksgiving Point Gardens, and go camping.
So this is my question for YOU: If you have or currently do live in Utah, what "must-do" activities would be on your to-do list before leaving?
First, I love your blog! It's so interactive! Things I wish we had done before we left....more game nights with you guys! (seriously I miss you so much so bring your best friends with you on these adventures), hike Rock Canyon, ice cream at the Creamery, hike Bridal Veil falls, picnic in the Canyon, that comedy group in the WSC...the list could go on and on....that's why we go back so often!
ReplyDeleteWe are hiking to Timp caves Friday...if you want to join us or we can go on Saturday if that is easier. I would say visit the BYU bookstore or BYU Legends Hall, Arches or Bryce Canyon National Park, Manti Pageant...Like Elena said the list goes on and on.
