Thursday evening my sister-in-law LeRita called and said she was given 10 FREE tickets to Playhouse Disney's Live Tour show in SLC on Saturday. She invited Gerald, Katelee and I to go with her family and with Gerald's parents.
Saturday morning we told Katelee we had a surprise. When we met up with her cousins, she was so excited! She thought that was her surprise (she LOVES her cousins). We parked several blocks away and took the tracks train. We knew the tickets we had been given were supposed to be really good seats, but when we arrived, we found that we were on the floor level, in the very first row! Literally, there was nothing between us and Mickey Mouse except a few yards! Katelee was mesmerized! She stared with wide eyes, gasped at the effects, clapped and danced along with the characters, and cheered with the crowd. It was so fun to watch her! She really got into the dancing parts of the show - she boogied her little heart out! Many of her favorite characters were in the show - Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald, of course. They also had the Little Einsteins, Handy Manny, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and more.
It was a really fun afternoon. Unfortunately, my camera batteries died, so I only got a few pictures, but here they are. Thanks again, Willden family (and your nice friends who gave you the tickets), and mom and dad Reynolds for this fun memory!
Later that evening we arrived at Mom & Dad Reynolds' home for a birthday party in honor of LeRita and Laurinda. We expected the Willden's and mom and dad to be there. What a surprise we got when LaVon opened the door! Right behind her was Kelly and the kids! They drove down from Montana yesterday to surprise us! My mouth was hanging open, I was so surprised! It was a perfect ending to a great day! Katelee had a wonderful time playing with her cousins and we had fun visiting. Thanks for the great surprise, Curtis family!
What a seriously cute little girl you have. I wish I had eyelashes like hers. :) You guys are great. I'm so glad that you invited us to see your blog.
ReplyDeleteSo fun Jenn! Looks like you all had a blast! I wish I could have met Mickey and Minnie too! :) (Maybe some other day, huh?) :)
