Hooray! Daddy is home!
Gerald's cousin, Chad Thornton, who was Gerald's same age, passed away last week. The funeral was yesterday in Las Vegas. The timing wasn't good for Katelee and Jennifer, who were both really sick on Friday and throughout the weekend. So, in the end we decided it was best if Gerald jumped in with his parents who were going down to the funeral. They left Saturday morning and got home late Monday night, so he was only gone a couple of days, but we sure missed him! We're glad he's home safe and sound. Our thoughts and prayers have been with the Thornton family; Gerald reported that the funeral was really beautiful.
