When It Snows, It SNOWS!

Wow.

So far in my (admittedly limited) experience living in Denver, I have noticed that when it snows here, it snows!

It snowed here at my house for about 50 hours straight the past couple of days.

It seemed like everything shut down.  Schools, some stores and businesses, even Gerald's campus shut down the second day.

It took Gerald over 30 minutes to dig the car out of the parking lot.  I guess it's really time to get our garage cleaned out so we can actually park the car in there!

When I stepped out into the snow yesterday afternoon it came up to my knees, and as high as Katelee's waist!  I think that's amazing considering there was no snow on the ground when this started!

Each day we went out in the snow for a few minutes of fun until we were to frozen to enjoy it any more.  Here are a few fun pictures to show of our snow experience!

Brrrrrrrrr!

Katelee was constantly falling in the snow (sometimes on purpose) and she thought it was absolutely hilarious!

In this picture you can see how high the snow was!
We also took a picture of Katelee standing on our patio wall, so you could see how high snow was next to her - up to her waist!
The snow was beautiful.  While traipsing through the snow behind our building with Katelee I took these pictures of the snow-covered trees.

Today the sun is shining and the snow is beginning to melt, but I think we are still in for a cold Halloween!!
